TRIO SKOOL / LEARNING GUIDE
Build a Portfolio Around One Strong Project
A portfolio is more useful when it explains your decisions. One carefully documented project can show how you think, create and refine your work.
Choose a specific problem
Give your project a clear audience and purpose. Write a short brief that establishes the context without inventing results or client relationships.
Show the process
Include a small selection of research, sketches and variations. Explain what changed and why, rather than displaying every draft.
Present the final work
Use a consistent layout, readable captions and realistic mockups. Distinguish personal projects from client work so viewers understand the context.
Reflect on the outcome
Describe what you learned and what you would improve next. Only include performance metrics when you have evidence for them.
